Product Details & Allergens

It’s deceptively simple. Starbucks® by Nespresso® House Blend is a medium-roast coffee with a smooth, balanced taste, made from a Latin American blend. Loaded with flavour, balancing tastes of nut and cocoa and just a touch of sweetness from the roast.

House Blend was the first blend Starbucks® created in 1971 and reflects the balance of aroma, body and flavour developed through the Starbucks® Roast Spectrum. With an intensity score of 8, these coffee capsules are ideal for coffee drinkers who enjoy exploring different coffees and recreating the cafe experience. Enjoy Starbucks® coffee at home as part of your everyday routine, whenever the moment calls for it, served as a 110ml Lungo on its own or with your choice of milk.

The pack contains 10 roast and ground coffee capsules designed for use with Nespresso® coffee machines. Simply place a capsule into your compatible Nespresso® machine to prepare your Lungo coffee.

Made in Switzerland, the capsules are made using at least 80% recycled aluminium. The coffee is suitable for Kosher and Halal diets.

Also available in Espresso Roast and Blonde Roast as part of the Starbucks® coffee range.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1. What is a coffee bean?: A coffee bean is the seed of the coffee plant. It's the part that gets roasted, brewed, and ground into the coffee granules you use every day. Often referred to as a cherry, it is the pip inside the red or purple fruit of the coffee plant.
Q2. Which are the most popular coffee drinks?: The cappuccino, the latte , and the espresso shot are probably the most popular types – or at least, the most well-known. But there’s a lot more variety to be discovered and enjoyed. A cafe Au Lait takes it's inspiration from a latte but is made with brewed coffee whereas a lungo is similar to an espresso but comes in a larger volume.
Q3. What should I put in coffee?: It’s all about personal taste. If you like your coffee sweeter, add some sugar or flavoured syrup. You can add milk, or a plant-based alternative like oat milk to soften the bold flavours slightly. Experiment with your favourite flavours and find out what works best for you.
Q4. What is a latte?: A latte is generally considered the least intense coffee as it has one of the biggest milk-to-coffee ratio. Made with 1/3rd freshly brewed espresso and the remaining 2/3rd consisting of foamed milk, the taste is a little sweeter with a more mellow taste.
Q5. What flavors make the best iced coffee?: Coffee is a versatile drink that works well with lots of different flavours. A good place to start would be with hazelnut, chocolate, or toffee flavours.
