

Pork and Miso Stir-fry
Quick and easy to prepare, nothing beats a one pan meal. This recipe is the perfect midweek comfort meal.

Makes 4 servings500g Pork Belly or Pork Loin, thinly sliced
3 Spring Onions, cut into 2cm pieces
2 Teaspoons of Ginger, grated
1 Teaspoon of Garlic, crushed
2 Tablespoons of Miso
1 Teaspoons of Rice Wine Vinegar
1 Tablespoons of Soy Milk
4 Teaspoons of Honey
25g of Butter
Directions
- In a small bowl, combine the miso, soy sauce, honey, vinegar, garlic and ginger. Mix well until smooth and well combined.
- Heat a drizzle of oil in a wok or large frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the pork and cook, tossing occasionally, until the meat begins to brown and sear.
- Add the spring onions and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant and slightly softened.
- Pour in the miso seasoning mixture and stir well, coating the pork evenly. Add the butter and continue cooking until the sauce thickens slightly and becomes glossy.
- Remove from the heat and serve immediately with steamed rice and a fresh salad of your choice.
